Simply locking the threads won't resolve the problem. With the GE limit currently in place, and removal of these price check forums, where would you propose that people get the current value for items from to ensure that the offer they found is valid for the current market price? I just hate seeing people ask for something, but do not give a valid solution. I do not trade rares or items over max cash, just putting that out there. I would like to add that Fmods remove any price check forums you make too, it does not say in the forum rules that only certain users can make certain threads does it? Haha. You can't try to make your own pc thread because it's considered manipulation. The existing pc threads are allowed to continue their manipulation because they already exist. Issues like these will only become more frequent until an in game alternative is implemented. Would be nice to hear some Jmod discussion on the possibility of above max cash ge trades. The reaction of a forum moderator to that was removing my post cause of "irrelavant to the thread" and "flaming", neither of those are true, it is relevant and i did not flame. I posted on one of my alts revealing the sales were 6-7 days old. The prices posted by other players were 3.3 and 3.4b for a third age dye, their reaction to that was posting 4b sales from 6-7 days old trying to make it look like it were recent sales. There's 2 players, not sure if i can mention their names but you will find out who those people are, posting sales of 6-7 days old after people posting they bought for way lower than they are asking for. Just take a look at the Treasure Trail Items Status V6. It is going so far that even forum moderators help the manipulators with their manips by removing posts of people revealing manips. Legit ALL price checking forum threads in the Item Discussion section on the RS forums are heavily manipulated. I made this throw away account cause i want to stay anonymous for now.
